What’s goodie you guys? It’s Birthday Cas here with a quick update on shit. Well since Bryant has decided that, “tumblr is shit” we’re moving the blog to another site which is probably not finished because he hasn’t finished the coding yet. So when it does come I will def update everyone.

But since I have you’re attention and shit, I may as well vent. Since it’s my 21st birthday many of my friends have asked me out to drink. But I always decline and since I’m now 21 I feel obligated. But, to everyone who is reading this I’ll explain why I cannot and will not drink with you. I am an angry drunk. Not a, “You ain’t shit LuLz” kind of drunk but a, “FUCK YOU STARING AT BITCH!?” kind of drunk. I found this out a while ago and never really told anyone but now, fuck it. Ha. I’ll get buzzed with you but if I cross that line between buzzed and drunk I may or may not be held responsible for my actions. This is also the reason I’m sitting home on my birthday, on a Fridays in general, typing this for you to read. Thank you for you’re time.

So, it’s been about a week since the last update. I think that’s a decent enough time for you guys to wait until I come up with some random shit to talk about. Once again, it’s everyone’s favorite production team, The Drumkits. If you don’t know who we are yet, then one: why are you here? and two: welcome new fans it’s Long Beach’s very own “Late Night” Cas minus Bryant “Can’t Be Found” Lee (I know he’ll love to read that). If you’re wondering why we haven’t been updating the Youtube.com/BryantLeeMusic as of late it’s because Bryant, as well as myself, can’t seem to get our schedules to fit around each other. He’s been busy at school and I’ve been busy with school and trying to get a jay oh bee in this low employment ass country. But all excuses aside, we have been working trying to come up with new remixes for you guys. So don’t think we’ve forgotten about you guys. We love our fans, each and every one of you.

Also expect some new music from another artist that we’ve had the pleasure to work with. He’s actually a very good friend of ours. He goes by the name of Clinton and he is dope. His lyrics are of a very high caliber and he puts mad time into his word choice and he actually makes SONGS; not just bullshit freestyles (although he does that as well). What’s good everybody? It’s Insomniac Cas here with an update on how things at The Drumkits HQ is going. First, not too long ago me and your favorite producer MooseJuice Bryant Lee got it in on some COD getting prep’d for Black Ops in November. As usual, we raped while the rest of our team sucked balls. But anyways, on to the music. If you haven’t been keeping up with our Youtube.com/BryantLeeMusic (we need to change that btw) then you’re a dick and fuck you, ya bitch. Honestly though, sub to our Youtube.com/BryantLeeMusic and like/rate all the videos.

Now, on to some exciting news. Through one of Bryant’s friends, we’ve met this dope ass rapper. He goes by the name of M.A.R.S which probably stands for something but I haven’t gotten the chance to ask. He’s pretty much exactly what we need as far as an artist goes. He’s got a dope flow and he can actually sing, unlike everybody’s favorite rapper Drake. Now before we get hate mail about the Drake comment, what I mean is that Drake has that “everyman” voice. But MARS on the other hand, can actually be and R&B artist is he so chooses too. That’s how good of a singer he is. So be sure to check out the Youtube.com/BryantLeeMusic for his song called Whistle. We did not take part in the making of that beat btw. We’re just promoting it for now.

Hey, what’s good everyone? Cas here and I just wanted to let everyone know I’m still alive because apparently to Bryant, I’m not alive unless I post. [Note: Cleaning our your ears in the morning feels sooooooo good.] Also, *siiiigh* @women, but I digress. Anyways, we here at DKS want input from our fans/friends/critics and shit like that. So, every now and then Bryant, or myself, will post up a sample of things that we’ve been doing. This could be a compilation of beats or two versions of a remix that we’ve done. We just want to have a close relationship with our community, all ten of you who read this. We’ll see how this works for the first couple of weeks and then go on from there.

So…*taps fingers on desk* what else? Well, The Drumkits have been working on many things lately. We’re trying a lot of new things and trying to step out of our element. Not much else to say really. *awkward silence* On to the question of the day, errh, ‘til the next time I post, or if Bryant addresses the question.

It’s been a LONG minute since I last posted, and Cas, well he’s a bitch and never posts. But to his and my defense we’ve been working hard trying to get some stuff together and in the process of making some submissions, that HOPEFULLY pan out, because if they do it would be real HEAVY!!! Plus yea, unfortunately I go to school so that keeps me occupied as well. But basically wanted to give ya’ll a lil’ update as to what’s been goin on. The biggest move since I last posted was we landed a track with a dance crew called Masterz-N-Motion. They are one word: Dope. They headed by Jamel Washington who is a dope ass dancer and cool ass dude. So big shout out to him for givin us the oppurtunity. (Ill post all their links and stuff at the end so you can check em out!) You’re probably thinkin, why is this such a big deal?? Well this dope dance crew is going to be featured on a television show, you may of heard of it…

So yes, if you connect the dots, that means you are gonna hear…Th-Th-Th-The Drumkits on NATIONAL TV!!! AHHHHHHH!!! Now how many people can say that?? Not too many! They are going to be taping sometime in April but not sure when the actual performance will air on TV but we will keep you updated so you can check it out and TiVO it! LOL. But that’s basically it for now, hopefully I will have some bigger news for ya’ll soon AND hopefully Cas will pull his Samoan ass away from COD and post once in a while. Aight yall, peace.
